I love enhancing the natural ability of a person's voice because it gives them a new confidence because they in fact hear the improvement (s) themselves and so does everyone else as time goes on.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I assess what issues and strengths a person's voice has so I know what needs to be planned.
I call it a vocal diagnosis and it can take upto 3 hours.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 22 years experience in working with other coaches, producers, and recording artists from all over the world. (Not to mention voice over artists, radio personalities, public speakers, and those just trying to overcome speech impediments)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It is based on the situation (in home or in studio, is the project for radio/awards, OR is this for fun, then there's distance).

How did you get started teaching?
I was already a music producer and decided I would add something new under my belt since helping people sound better is a passion of mine, so I reached out to other coaches to develop a solid lesson plan and I figured it out over 7 years of trial & error.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types from all over the world.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just coached a choir in Boston last fall. That was fun!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Work ethic beats talent every day. Just listen to the radio.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Everyone is different. Do not expect a teacher to take you to the next level.
Put the responsibility on yourself to learn as much as you can on your own so that what you learn from others is the icing on the cake.
