North-D
About
Firearme safety fundamentals handgun or rifle and advanced hand gun skill classes. One on one classes available. All equipment and supplies provided for introduction classes (recommended to bring your own hearing and eye protection).
I enjoy seeing student growth. Seeing a student going from being afraid of firearms to shooting well with confidence by the end of class or a student learning a new skill or technique. It is extremely rewarding.
I also provide Range Safety Officer services as well as range safety consulting.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching informally for more than 20 years, mostly friends and family. My family suggested, I should start teaching professionally due to how well I was teaching informally. I liked the suggestion and shortly after obtained my certifications and started North-D firearm training.
What types of students have you worked with?
Firearm safety has no one type of student.
I have worked with men and women from teens to senior citizens .
Anyone that can legally own a firearm can take a class.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask what firearm classes they have taken. Instructors should always be learning more and continue adding to their teaching toolbox.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Am I willing to learn?
