I developed a passion for cooking at a young age. My fondest memories are from the times spent with my mom and grandmother preparing family meals. My formal training has been under American Culinary Federation Certified professional chefs and attending Bucks County Community College Culinary program. The professional experience spans over thirty years in various faucets of the food industry as cook, Sous Chef, Chef and Food Service manager in restaurant, hotels, catering and university dining.

I’ve been a personal chef preparing in home customized meals for over fifteen years.  Working with clients to learn basic cooking skills is one of my favorite aspects of Meal Makers Inc., I enjoy infusing the passion I have for food and the joy of cooking in my meals and lessons. What I don’t know, I enjoy learning. I enjoy preparping a variety of cuisines and have experience in vegetarian, vegan and a varierty of special diets.

Meal Makers Inc.  is a Personal Culinary service. We offer personal meal services, in home events, cooking parties and teach cooking lessons in the client’s home.  We serve the Greater Philadelphia area including South Jersey and Northern Delaware. What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Our objective is to meet your learning goals as much as possible. We start with a conversation to answer the who what when where and why questions. Some of the questions are regarding your dietary requirements. 

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts,a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Managemet and over 30 years professional cooking experience. I also have been the chef owner of Meal makers for the past fifteen years. I am a current memeber of the American Culinary Federation.


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

We have standard pricing on our website which includes groceries and number of participants. We also have pricing available where you supply everything and our rate is per hour.

How did you get started teaching?

I have always had to mentor cooks, and other food related staff in various areas. I have also been an active CPR instructor for the past 13 years.

What types of students have you worked with?

We work with adults and children.
