What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Finding out what exactly they want to learn and what is expected from me. Usually speak to then on the phone before all lessons to get things worked out so the lessons go smooth and are fun to do.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years experience as a working artist and 40 plus years of learning and perfecting cooking and baking
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depends on what materials are needed and the time for the lesson,but I'm always fare
How did you get started teaching?
Have done it off and on for 30 yrs but really enjoy educating Adults you are never to old to learn something new.
What types of students have you worked with?
Have worked with children and that is why I prefer to work with Adults over 18. No offence to children but to be honest I just do not want to work with them anymore.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Any and All reggae concerts that come to town.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be careful there are a lot of creeps out there!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they want to get from the lesson and be able to convey that to the teacher.
