I absolutely love teaching! I try my hardest to bring the best I can out of my students. I take pride in how much a student can learn and grow from my classes and private lessons. It is truly amazing to see a student progress and grasp concepts they've never thought of before.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process when beginning to work with a new student for private lessons involves these steps:
1. Talking- simply discussing what it is the student is trying to accomplish.
2. In the studio- a brisk warm-up to see what level of flexibility and strength they have, as well as to see how quickly they are able to follow along.
3. Working on the basics- Most of the time when a student wants to achieve something grand or get overall better at something- it is best to refine the technique in basic steps and then have them work their way up.
4. Decision- The student makes the decision if they'd like to continue lessons or not, and the teacher determines a timeline for when the goal or overall improvement is achieved by.

How did you get started teaching?
I started assistant teaching and substitute teaching at the age of fifteen in my hometown dance studio. While in high school I choreographed for many musical productions as well as multiple solos. During my time in college, I began teaching at an after school program, a local studio, and choreographing group numbers each semester. I recently taught at three dance studios in Philadelphia- Equilibrium Dance Academy, Rain Dance Studio, and CEG Performing Arts Academy.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from the age of two to adults, beginners to advanced, and students with special needs.
