Founded in 2002, Performance Garage is situated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and caters to the surrounding areas. Originally a nineteenth-century stable and automobile garage, the space was transformed into a versatile dance theatre. It offers studio and production rental space to artists at subsidized rates, and serves as a home to choreographers, dancers, and educators. The venue, available 7 days a week, also accommodates weddings and other private events, film and video shoots, as well as community and corporate meetings.
