Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to work with the client and decide where and when works best for their schedule. After we hold our first practice together, we can then decide how many and how frequently the client would like to meet for lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up dancing recreationally and as a competitve dancer in a studio for 19 years. I started teaching when I was 16 years old and danced professionally for 4 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I hold half hour and hour long lessons for a single person, couple or group.
Single person lesson $45 for 1/2hr or $75 for 1/hr
Couples lesson $60 for 1/2hr or $85 for 1/hr
Group lessons $100(up to 5 people) for 1/hr or $150(over 5 people) for 1/hr
Group lessons must do an hour long lesson. The cost is per hour, NOT per person.
How did you get started teaching?
I grew up dancing and I love sharing what I love to do with other people, so I traded in my prefessional dancing shoes, for teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and all styles!
