Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A new student can call us and find a day and time to take a free class to try us out. Upon arriving, they are warmly greeted by a friendly staff and given a tour of the facility. We explain our cirriculum and how we teach our lessons. We are happy to answer any questions a new family has. Each child is taught as an individual and our group classes have a maximum of 4 children per class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors have 50 hours of training to learn the cirriculum before teaching any children unassisted. Our cirriculum is based on extensive research and experience that has proven to teach children to swim in the best possible way,
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We are monthly membership based so you can start and stop when you want. Our group lessons are the most popular. They are 30 minute classes with a maximum of 4 children per class. You have an option to come to us 1, 2 or 3 days per week and the pricing varies. We do offer multiple day discounts and sibling discounts. For example, 2 days per week is $153 per month and 1 day per week is $84 per month. We highly recommend 2 days per week because we believe that optimal learning happens when children can practice more.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of children including special needs.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask about how much training they have and how the parents are communicated to on progress.
