Violin Lessons Philadelphia

Thanks for visiting! I would love to teach you the violin! I work with all ages and levels of students; from beginners learning the basics to advanced students auditioning for conservatories. I have long lineage of studying with great violinists and teachers, without whom I would not be the performer I am today. It is with joy that I continue this teaching tradition and pass on these skills to my own students.

My varied decades-long experience both performing and teaching has led me to develop an organized and thoughtful approach to teaching. Each student comes to me with unique goals and style of learning, so I craft personalized, flexible plans that cater to these needs. Past students have gone on to be concerto competition winners; regular performers on the Settlement Music School student recital series; and attendees of premier summer festivals, youth orchestras, and music preparatory schools.

I love when my students have the "ah-ha" moment and everything just clicks! Also seeing their long term progress is so wonderful. Some of my students I have started as total beginners playing open string songs, and before I know it they are playing concertos. It's such a rush for me as a teacher!
