My teaching philosophy is to show you how to best use your natural singing gift. Singing is one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling forms of expression that you can experience when you use your breath efficiently. I want to help you be the best you can be and enjoy yourself in the process.

I have more than 25 years of experience accomplishing my goals as a singing actor in the medium of opera and concert repertoire. Companies that I have sung with include the Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Santa Fe Opera, San Fransisco Opera, New York City Opera, Cincinnati Opera, Aspen Opera, Tanglwood Music Festival, Ravinia Music Festival, Saito Kinen Music Festival, Long Island Philharmonic, and the Grant Park Music Festival. I am an alumni of The Juillard Opera Center, the Manhattan School of Music - MM (full merit scholarship), and the Hartt School of Music -BM (cum laude). I studied voice with Mark Nicholson, Gianna Rolandi, Trish McCaffrey, Ruth Falcon, Marlena Malas, and Edith Bers. My vocal coaches have included Craig Rutenberg, Eric Weimer, Thomas Grubb, and Kathryn LeBouff.
