One of the cool things I like to do is have jam sessions for my students. Everyone learns the same tunes and then we get together for a big friendly jam session! It isn't a requirement - I have a few people that want to learn different stuff and don't go to the jams - but for those who do, it's lots of fun.
I specialize in teaching adults but do now and then take teenage students. Most of my students take a lesson either every week or every other week, but I'm ok with whatever pacing works for you.
