Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on the experience of the player, this really does vary! Regardless, it is like that I will go over the difference between the physical and mental approach towards learning the violin as one of my students. And we will see what prior info you have to branch off of! Pretty much all my lessons are catered to the individual.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been fortunate enough to get to work with Foxboro High School & their music Director Cameron Tedoldi, offering virtual bi-weekly technique workshops for violin & viola
I have offered lessons both in person & virtually at the White School of Music in North Attleboro, Mass
I offer instruction with the Westminster Youth String Ensemble in Westerly, RI
I have worked with the BASICS program spread accross numerous elementary schools in Rhode Island for introductory ensembles
I have played the violin my entire life since 3rd grade, went to Boston Conservatory for my undergraduate & have enjoyed summer festivals concentrating on performance such as Bowdoin, Chautauqua, The Heifetz Institute and Green Mountain.
