What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Depending on age - a introduction lesson involves meeting and understanding the practical requirements for their skill eg: performing, assessments, etc. Then determining the best teaching techniques, level of skill, etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

16 years in the music industry.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Standard lesson price is $30/lesson

Elementary students $25/lesson - time: 30mins (due to attention span)

Professional vocalist coaching $50 per session

How did you get started teaching?

Through developing large teams of musicians all at different levels I realised that most need external work on their skill set.

What types of students have you worked with?

Professional vocalists, children from Elementary age, students, group sessions, choir, mature age - refresher or new to music.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I performed at a youth event to raise awareness with over 1000 youth in attendance.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

We all do what we love - if we don't love it - we don't do it! Find someone who will challenge you (or your child) but who you enjoy being taught by!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Current skill level

What is the desired outcome of the lessons?
