Learning to play an instrument can help children (and adults!) in so many ways. It changes the way we think and process information, contributes to increased understanding of math and language concepts, and gives us self-confidence as we tackle a complicated new endeavor. I love helping my students learn the language of music, and guiding them to being good listeners and musicians as well as pianists/singers. It's fun for us all and I cherish the relationships I have built with my students!
