Piano Lessons
About
Valerie Sapienza began playing piano at the age of 3. She was classically trained for the next 15 years of her life, where she competed in various piano competitions and participated in different music festivals, state-run assessments, and National Piano Guild auditions. She completed up to the highest level (level 12) in both music theory (aural and written) and piano performance through Florida State Music Teacher's Association.
Valerie is currently a medical student and enjoys sharing the joy of music and finds it to be healing. She loves that music is a universal language and can create a bond between anyone. Valerie could not imagine her life without music and loves spreading her passion to her students. She has experience with students from elementary school to college level.
I love spreading the joy of music and seeing the impact it has on my student's lives! One of my favorite parts about teaching is making a connection with my students and watching them learn about their talent and potential in piano!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love getting to know what interests my students in music and start to make some goals from them. I focus on both the importance of learning technique and skill, as well as building a repetoire.
