About

I offer high quality lessons varying in all age ranges and like to make sure the student is consistent learning while reaching the goals they have set.

My favorite part of teaching is the investment both teachers and students make towards making music. The work and time put into musical growth is always an amazing sight to see and I cherish the bonds I make with students the more I work with them. Music can be life altering and knowing I can make a significant change in my students lives is what drives my passion for teaching.

Frequently asked questions

The student and I will introduce ourselves and establish a goal that they would like to reach. From playing a pop song on the piano, to performing Tchaikovsky on violin for a concert, I promise to help guide my student towards achieving their goal. From there, we will go over what musical knowledge the student has before we begin making music.

I have been playing viola as my primary instrument for 9 years and can play a myriad of instruments including: Violin, Cello, Piano, Guitar, and Ukulele. I am currently employed at Bach to Rock in Mt. Pleasant where I more oftenly teach beginner to intermediate level music to kids (ages 6 - 14). I also teach adults and continue to give private lessons.

Two of the most influential people in my life were both my Orchestra teacher and my private lesson instructor. They were both married so I was able to learn twice as much and experience two times the amount of love for teaching that was given to me. Throughout the years I learned to appreciate them and what they have done for me as a musician. I now carry the love for music and helping students grow as musicians themselves.
