I am a violin teacher based out of Nashville, TN. With a background in classical violin (B.Mus majoring in classical violin performance from Queensland Conservatorium, Australia). I also specialise in improvisation across multiple styles of music - Bluegrass, Jazz, Country, Pop.
Beginners to advanced.
Lessons are conducted online over ZOOM. Schedule is very flexible. Teaching done from my studio in Nashville.
I have toured extensively in the country and pop worlds (Carrie Underwood, Lana Del Rey, Big & Rich, Hayes Carll, Maddie and Tae, Glenn Frey, Olivia Newtown John)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Mix of technique and repertoire. I create content for each student. Sheet music and recorded videos are sent at the end of every lesson. You will always have music and a video to play along with for the week.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Music in Classical Performance from Queensland Conservatorium. Studied Jazz at Berklee College of Music, Boston. Banff International Jazz Workshop scholarship recipient.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in senior year of highschool. Over the past 20 years I have taught in schools, privately, and over zoom from my home studio.
