Mr. Marcus has totally changed my childs attitude when it comes to piano lessons. She wanted to quit shortly after starting even though she had begged to take lessons. When he found she wasnt as engaged as we would like he personalized her lessons to where now she is consistently practicing and is upset if she has to miss a week. Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we will set up a consultation lesson to see if a student has true interest in the instrument. Next step is setting up a weekly appointment. We started off in lesson book learning to sight read, music theory, and by-ear training. After first lesson book has been completed we will schedule a private piano recital for family and friends.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Professional pianist for many main stream artist. Classically trained, POP, Jazz, Gospel, Rythm & Blues and many more genres.
