About
Hi I'm Ben Pham and I can help you reach your goals in drumming. I have 10+ years of performing and teaching experience. I have toured the U.S. with the Nightowls and I spent 4 months in Europe performing with Scott Bradlee's "Postmodern Jukebox on Deck".
In my drum lessons you are going to learn to:
- play confidently, with control and precision
- play multiple styles and grooves. Be able to play your favorite songs.
- master techniques that will make playing drum fills and solos easy
- how to make auditions and get gigs and make a part time or full time income from drumming
- be able to make any drum kit sound good regardless if it's a low end or high end drum kit
I love helping people improve and overcome their obstacles and limits through this exciting art form!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
What is your goal for your drumming? That is the number one thing I want to know. From there we work towards that by using exercises, techniques and music to get there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in music education from the University of Texas Arlington. After University, I continued taking private lessons and have studied with Stockton Helbing (UNT One O'Clock/Maynard Ferguson), Chris Knox (Mike Mitchell's teacher), Clint Simmons (Berklee) and Jaime Reyes. I've also had one off lessons with Dave Elitch, Anika Nilles, Todd Suchermann and Dom Famularo. I constantly am learning and reading about drumming today in various books and online media.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
