I always want to play the fiddle and Jiazhi helps me to accomplish my wish. We started with easy fiddling melody and gradually add things up. I like the way he communicate his thoughts with a student since they are very effective to practice. Now I love to play the fiddle even more and still improving my play every week. Cannot do this without a good teacher stand by my side

Jiazhi is such a wonderful violin teacher! I played violin in middle school but dropped for several years and now I picked it up. He helped me achieve the level that I couldn’t think before. He has a systematic teaching philosophy and using the Suzuki method which build up my basic skills firmly. Now I can sight read the music and follow through the melody by myself. Such a good time to work with him and enjoyed the music lesson a lot

Frequently asked questions

All the kids and adult students I have taught they all finish with good posture and sound making. They also find the ture love through practicing a variety of violin piece.

As I started playing violin since 4 years old, I know how it feels for kids or adults to learn music. I came to the US in 2012 and received my Bachlor of Music degree in 2016 and Master of Music in 2018. I am pursuing Doctor of Musical Arts degree now. I never stoped learning and playing the violin in my entire lifetime, I treat violin as part of my daily life

Usually I would charge $30 for 30 minutes lesson; and $55 for 1 hour.

As a violinist, I always expand my vision in both solo performances and pedagogy. In my opinion, a good musician need to have the capability in acquiring music knowledge and transmit what in their brain to other peaple. Besides, I love getting around with people who love and play music.

So far I taught kids from 4-16 years old and adult students.

People often like to find the most suitable teacher. Before making that decision, ask yourself what and how I would like to learn from this person. Does he or she able to help me in a way that is acceptable to achieve my future goal.
