About
I've taken a couple of music theory and ear training classes so far in college, as well as private lessons. The basics are something I have a good grasp of, and I can help to give anyone starting out a solid foundation.
I've played piano for roughly 3-4 years and I have experience singing both male voice parts in highschool and college choir (San Jacinto College).
Teaching lessons is new to me, though I've had plenty of experience tutoring other students and colleagues.
Beginning and intermediate level teaching is my specialty.
Music is something I'm passionate about. You can invest your whole life working on your skills and still have room for improvement. There's so much possibility to express yourself and plenty of challenge. It's something I'll always be interested in. Music theory opens up a lot of possibilities, which is what I'm most interested in

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I'd like to meet and go over any knowledge or experience students have. Playing the instrument, learning about it or about music theory in general. I'd like to know what kind of time students have to practice and what access they might have to the instrument. Also hours of the week available and pay.
