About this pro

Customized lesson plans in solo and collaborative piano repertoire and vocal coaching.

Fostering a nurturing, supporting, challenging as well as rewarding musical experience and a well rounded and multifaceted music education.

All artists feel that the importance of educational programs and consistent exposure to musical arts is self evident to everybody.  The benefits are such an integral part of every day life to professional and amateur musicians that we sometimes forget that not everyone has the privilege to be exposed to a musical education.  However, I realize that we professional musicians need to act as advocates for the merits of our work and actively assist in creating young, enthusiastic, and well educated audiences.

It could be that music is one of the most effective tools to a child’s future.  It can become a valuable companion, a creative outlet, or even a lifelong passion and shelter in times of trouble and uncertainty.

I love giving students the opportunity to enrich their lives and seize the incredible benefits of a well rounded music education!  Having a little something to do with shaping their personal and professional integrity, enriching their world and helping them develop the skills they need to shape their future, define their goals and feel  a sense of fulfillment, pride and accomplishment through the magical world of music, makes me really happy and gives me confidence that my work, my vocation, my calling is of importance and value in their lives!

Ms. Anatolia has been teaching my two sons Piano classes for 4 years now. My kids love her teaching and her role as a musical guide and mentor. My wife and I really appreciate Ms. Anatolia's depth of musical knowledge, passion for what she does and genuine care for her students' musical development. We feel that our kids are very lucky to have Ms. Anatolia as their teacher. Anyone in the DFW area looking for a true artist and musical teacher should look no further.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I usually start with a few trial lessons . This way the student has the opportunity to get to know my teaching style and decide if they want to commit to a regular lesson plan with me.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Advanced  degrees in Piano performance and Pedagogy ( piano teaching).  Advanced degrees in KeynoRs Collaborative arts ( piano in Chamber music and vocal accompanying), trained as vocal coach with a doctoral minor in vocal arts.  Other fields of expertise : iMusic Theory, Music History, Improvisation, Beginning to Intermediate composition.
