Due to the recent health emergency I am reintroducing online lessons. I am well experienced in this method as I developed several online courses at two universities for a variety of classes. Teaching private lessons is a relaxing way to get instruction at home without having to worry about health issues.
I have extensive training and experience both as a professional musician and educator. But I also have a collection of skills accumulated over the years that revolve around the necessities of self-employment. In music, I am trained to teach at all age and skill levels. My experience as a music instructor comes from years of offering private lessons as well as teaching for Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi and Middle Tennessee State University. I have a BM and MM from the University of North Texas. My practical experience can be found in years of live performance, a nationally distributed album/CD, as well as music leadership positions in music theater, church and concert settings.
Any day that I work with people and music is a good day. Assisting students to achieve their musical goals always warms my heart as I know it benefits them in diverse ways. Also, no matter what level of experience a student, I tend to learn new things from all my students.
