Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As a new student steps onto the court, I will asses the development and skills he or she may already have prior to working with me. With every new student and current student, we will focus on the basic fundamentals required for every tennis player such as forehand, backhand, volley and serves, as well as learning how to keep score and the basics of a tennis game per USTA standards.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained with some of the best coaches that have led many students to become USTA champions throught my years of playing tennis. These coaches have helped lead me on a path toward becoming the best as I will for my students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I teach a variety of lessons ranging from 30 minutes to two hours. 30 minute lessons are $25, 1 hour lessons are $35, and two hour lessons are $45. Within these lessons, students will learn the fundamentals of tennis as well as the basics and for more advanced students, competition requirements needed to aid them per USTA standards.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in High School while playing varsity tennis with a group of young children ranging from 7-15 years old alongside Coach Cindy. We worked with the kids everyday and organized different local tournaments as well as preparing students to take on USTA tournaments.

The students I have worked with ranged from 7-15 years old.
