Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process for working with a student varies depending on experience. I usually offer one free lesson to see what the fit is like and we can then move from there. I have worked with all ages and all experience levels and we can develop a plan to help improve your voice and knowledge of music no matter where we start.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated with a degree in Vocal Performance and Theatre from University of North Texas in 2015.
Former member of the Actor's Equity Association and professional actor for years in venues across the nation, from local theatres and opera houses to The Walt Disney Company in Orlando.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My usual pricing System is 40 dollars for 1 hour and 20 dollars for 30 minutes. I encourage 1 hour lessons if possible as it is the ideal timeframe to accomplish weekly objectives and goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages and experience types, ranging from prepping professional singers for auditions to starting with younger students and unexperienced singers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that is willing to work and develop a plan suited to you. Do not go to a cookie cutter vocal coach as every voice is different.
