Whether your interest in piano is for yourself or a family member, the piano is a wonderful instrument to learn to play! I have been teaching piano to students of all ages for over 30 years and finding it a very rewarding. To see a face light up when they have conquered a piece makes my day!

Parents and students can expect 2-3 pieces of music for practice each week. We sightread these pieces in class and work anything new so the student can return home and practice with confidence. Theory (workbook) which helps with note identification is part of the lesson. My teaching consists of a emphasis on reading vs memory, identifying notes on the staff in relation to the keyboard. Depending on the age and level of the student I also teach major and minor scales.

Annually I set up a recital for students to participate in which is optional to all students.

Currently, I am scheduling students to start in my home studio the first week of Sept. Located minutes from I35 in Saginaw, TX.
