About
I have a Masters degree in Music. I have several years of experience working in professional musical theatre in New York City. I have many years of experience teaching all ages and levels. I keep lessons engaging and fun. Although there are books I typically use, I draw from other resources to cater to the student interests and to help the student progress.
I love teaching piano. I love to see the students excitement when they reach a goal. It excites me to see a student progress. One of my gifts is coming up with innovative ways to explain a new or challenging concept.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I find out the students’ level of competency. Have they had lessons before? Did they have a good experience? Then, that’s where we start. I tailor each lesson for the particular student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Theatre Arts. I also have a Masters in Music and have been working in the music industry for 25 years. My most recent experience was performing Broadway musicals in New York for 7 years.
