My fiancé and I are by no means dancers, but Pari made us feel like we were! She originally recommended seven lessons to learn our full first dance choreography, but we were only able to fit in four — and she still helped us put together something absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to perform this dance at our wedding, and I truly can’t thank Pari enough. She was kind, patient, and so encouraging, which made the whole process feel easy and fun from the very beginning. I cannot recommend her enough!

Pari was such a great teacher for a pair of beginners. She has such a positive attitude and her encouragement made us feel more at ease even though we were pretty nervous at first. In two sessions we got enough basics for a wedding dance were very happy with.

Pari is an excellent instructor. She taught me Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Fox Trot, Waltz, Two Step, and more! Great fun to work with Pari. She has a very positive attitude and it all shows in her smile. I recommend Pari to anyone interested in Ballroom Dance at any level. She is very knowledgeable of all dances and cares about her students.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student is unique. So this is worked out in our consultation prior to setting up the first lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 12 plus years experience teaching as a fulltime ballroom dance instructor. I earned 5 Dance Degrees, which can be seen on my website. And I currently compete Open Gold level as part of my ongoing professional development.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I keep it as $95 per lesson. Students find that they can achieve their goal with me in fewer lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I grew up with an intense training in ballet, tap, and jazz and was passionately involved in music, choir, and theatrical arts. After high school, I went on to college to achieve my B.A. degree in Psychology and my Masters Degree in Theology. I spent over 12 years as an academic teacher. In my career as a Ballroom Dance Instructor, my love for teaching, dancing, and caring for other people's emotional wellbeing combined into a perfect fit for the whole of me! I can't wait to share all that I have to offer with my students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've been privileged to work with a great diversity of students for any variety of reasons. I can teach all levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced. I love to show my students what they can do that they could not even imagine.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My most recent students adored my outdoor cats and kittens. I am a cat colony manager with Barc to help care for stray cats, and I volunteer to get them trapped, neutered, and released back into their community. And I continue to feed and look after them.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Students should feel free to ask questions and let their teachers know what they want and what they need. And a skilled teacher should be able to accommodate their students in their uniqueness while at the same time making professional recommendations.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students usually ask about studio location, parking, availability, pricing, and how many lessons it will take to complete their choreography.
