Chef John did an amazing job and we can’t say enough about the night. Chef John showed the wife and I and our best friend couple how to prepare an amazing meal which highlighted raclette, Fruti Di Mari and all with a paired selection of fine wines. The food and experience was amazing. We learned so much and everyone had a blast. Would do it again.

I worked as an assistant to Chef John at Sur La Table Cooking Classes for about a year. He is an exceptional chef, and he can teach people how to make hard techniques seem easy. Also I think Chef John could do his Grandmas Italian cuisine blindfolded.

Full disclosure Super Chef Croatti is my cousin, but growing up in the presence of his pasta shop gave me an appreciation for creative Italian cuisine at an early age. Understanding that preparing a delicious meal and being able to experience it with close friends and family creates memorable experiences, and that is what it is all about. I love to cook, but I need a lot of guidance in terms of flavors, creativity, etc. So I always find myself calling Chef Croatti for advice, tips, etc. He introduces techniques and combinations in a very fun way and makes it easy to follow the instructions. He also keeps me apprised of any new gadgets or kitchenware that help to provide a unique culinary experience (i.e. the sous vide). He, along with the rest of my family, are the reason I am so passionate about food and cooking. I am the go-to friend when it comes to barbecues or tailgates because I employ all the cooking methods I have learned from him and it provides lots of memories around the table for my friends and I

I will customize a lesson or series of lessons based on what you want to learn, from this is how to hold a knife and boil water, to 30 minute meals, to writing menus, opening a restaurant and catering banquets.
