Terra's Violin Studio
About
My students recieve individualized lessons that are fun and fast-paced. I discuss practice strategies and encourage independent learning. Many of my students have successfully auditioned into districts, regions, and all-state orchestras, youth symphonies, and colleges of their choosing.
Getting to know my students and watching them learn! We put on recitals and events, as well as photo contests and play-a-thons- there’s always something exciting happening in the studio!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ensure that my students have the proper posture and technique for longevity and ease by giving them the appropriate level of music based on my evaluation. We build on those techniques at the pace of the student, and repertoire is always ADDED to, not 'passed'.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered and trained Suzuki violin instructor with a particular interest in beginning young (10 yrs old or younger) students from scratch. I have a Masters Degree in Performance/Pedagogy from the Peabody Conservatory.
