Joplin Lu is an accomplished performer, and an experienced teacher currently residents in Mckinney, Texas. She teaches over 70 weekly private violin and viola lessons in 4 middle schools, her private music studio, and Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra. I teach the Suzuki method. But Im flexible esp for older beginners I enjoy teaching in a relaxed athmosphere. I strongly encourage parental involvement and lots of listening,which speeds up the learning process. Reading and theory can be introduced at the same time with a different material than the Suzuki book.
