I teach students how to play...understand...and love the piano and music. As my students develop their confidence of notes and musicality I introduce theory as it relates to their music. Technique and music history is also introduced as it relates to their music. Teaching my students how to create music is my goal. No question my students are the best part of my day!

Mr. Johnson has been teaching privately for 20 years in Texas. He currently maintains a large tuba and Euphonium studio at The Woodlands HS north of Houston. When teaching lessons Mr. Johnson can be found performing as a freelance musician with local orchestras, in solo recitals, or with Space City Brass quintet-a brass quintet which he founded. Prior to his current position, Mr. Johnson was a musician in the United States Navy, performing ceremonial duties and public outreach concerts with a wide variety of musical styles including Dixieland, Classical, Rock, R&B, New Orleans style Brass Band, and more. When Mr. Johnson isn't teaching, pra
