What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I ask about their sport participation or if they have other activities that they enjoy like playing the piano and try to incorporate those activites into their new learning experience as it pertains and coincides with their current tennis skills.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an Associates Degree from Tyler Junior College in Recreational Management with a Specialty in Tennis Teaching. I have been teaching for 25(+) yrs as a United States Professional Tennis Association USPTA P1 Professional and an ex-member of the United Professional Tennis Regestry which is an international Professional Tennis Association. I was also a member of the United States Restringers Assaociation for many years where I gained vast knowledge on how to restring and customize tennis racquets for individual players of all levels.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Yes, I do, the fees are as follows:

$ 50/ 1hr lesson or $ 270 for a package of 6 Consecutive Lessons

A Group Lesson is $ 80/ 1hr & 1/2 for a group of 4 players

How did you get started teaching?

I was helping a young player at my local athletic club and was noticed for my patience and eye for detail when it came to teaching tennis.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've worked with toddlers all the way to Super Senior Players and even had the great opportunity of working with World Class Players competeing on the ATP & WTA levels around the world.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

One of my students let me know that it was my encouragement and belief in their skills that gave them the drive to be better and confident in themselves. Knowing that I make a diiference in my students lives is what drives me to give them my knowledge to help them succeed.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Seek those who are there for you and your game, every player is their unique self and its up to the instructor to develop those skills accordingly to make you a better player.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What am I wanitng to accomplish or add to my game?

Where do I see myself as a competitor or a weekend warrior trying to keep my skills sharp and ready for my next competition?

What sacrifice am I willing to make to be the better version or player I see myself becoming?
