Voted "Best of Hays" for Music/Instruments, we are a music school offering private lessons year round on: Drumset/percussion, Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Voice. Our instructors are experienced and dedicated musicians serious about making music. Students of all ages and levels are welcome! My husband and I are professional musicians, earning our music degrees from SWTSU/Texas State University in San Marcos. Our excellent and patient instructors are professional musicians a/o are currently in the process of earning their music performance or music education degrees.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We find a lesson day/time that works for both student and teacher and begin with the first lesson. The vast majority of students continue with weekly lessons. Music theory is taught along with technique and repertoire.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BMEd (All-Level Certification); many years of teaching, directing and coaching in the classroom and privately (in my case, piano, flute and voice, but our other teachers have a great deal of experience and training as well); many years of performance experience

1/2 hr lesson = $30
3/4 hr. lesson = $43
1 hr. lesson = $55
How did you get started teaching?
Began teaching younger flutists when I was in middle school, but as a profession, began teaching right after graduating from college with a Bachelor of Music Education (All-Level).
What types of students have you worked with?
Young and old and all ages in between; Beginners to Intermediate to Advanced in level
