I have known Laneigha Shuman for seventeen years, seven of which I studied piano and music theory under her direction and teaching. As a teacher, Laneigha excelled at teaching children. Though she also taught adults, her passion was with the children she taught. Her ability to connect with children and make the learning experience fun is superior.

Because of her teachings, positivity, and encouragement I went on to excel in music and became a Drum Major of Duncan High School band in 2004 and 2005. I also credit Laneigha for my success as a professional adult. Because of her extraordinary teaching technique, positivity and encouragement I continued my education and despite any learning deficits, I graduated Nursing school and have become a successful nurse.
