Elizabeth LeVitre Lessons
About
Elizabeth began studying the violin at age five and has loved making music ever since. Growing up in Arizona, she performed with ensembles including the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, the Youth Symphony of the Southwest, and the Arizona All-State Orchestra. She also enjoyed chamber music, with her string quartet earning second place in the Arizona MusicFest Competition in both 2016 and 2017.
Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance, magna cum laude, from the University of Utah, where she studied with Lenny Braus, former Associate Concertmaster of the Utah Symphony. She later earned a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, studying with Andrea Gajic. She also completed Suzuki teacher training for Violin Books 1–5.
As a teacher, Elizabeth is passionate about helping each child develop a strong musical foundation while fostering confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of music. She strives to create a positive, encouraging environment where students can grow both as musicians and as individuals.
Outside of teaching, Elizabeth enjoys reading, thrifting, and tackling home projects with her husband, whether that's hunting for vintage treasures or giving a room a fresh coat of paint.
