I have taken lessons for over 10 years and played for over 20. Recently, I studied at the University of Utah in the Piano Performance program. It was here that I learned that it is possible to follow your passion. Although I have chosen to study another discipline, I still study piano with a professor from the Piano Performance program. Over the past 14 years, I have worked as a teacher, an accompanist, a wedding pianist, a religious music provider and a background music provider. I have worked in both Canada and the US.
One of the things that I love about teaching is that I get to teach something that I am passionate about. I want to spread my love of the piano with everyone! This makes "work" enjoyable for the student and the teacher. I also love the variety of learning that takes place during the lessons.
