About
My students enjoy their private weekly lessons as we engage in fun repertoire, theory, technique exercises, and explore piano apps. Master classes, recitals, and summer piano camps are a regular part of our program!
I am also a national certified teacher of music with MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and serve on the Utah State Board of Music Teachers.
I love to teach! It's my favorite thing to do. My students look forward to their lesson time and have fun learning their pieces. I'd love to have you join us.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am always happy to welcome new students. I first get to know their hopes and desires for learning the piano and then strive to cater to their needs through the selected piano method.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught piano for 40+ years and am certified nationally as a teacher of music with MTNA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The monthly fee is a set fee regardless of any missed lessons. Students are paying for the time they have reserved and my hope is that they take advantage of it by attending.
However, should a student need to miss a lesson, I have a standard make up class on the fourth Saturday of each month where we focus on theory and work on current pieces.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching piano as a teenager for the kids in our neighborhood. I have been teaching ever since! Going on 40+ years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with young beginners, ages 4-6 in my Minimusic program. I also work with grade school thru high school age, as well as adults.
