I began voice lessons 16 years ago and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance (Classical Voice) from BYU, with experience performing in recitals and operas. I specialize in teaching adult beginner to intermediate students, focusing on healthy vocal technique, breath support, and building confidence step by step. I love helping students discover their unique voice and grow in both their skills and enjoyment of singing. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized, creating a supportive environment where you can progress at your own pace and feel confident in your abilities.

Hi! My name is Rieley Nixon. Here at Nixon Studios I am committed to helping students of all ages learn music in the most fun and enjoyable way possible! We have a great time learning music in creative ways. I love structuring lessons with a focus on music theory so students understand the why behind each principle. I offer both Piano and Vocal instruction to all types of students. I've had special experience for those who have learning difficulties and disabilities. I teach many instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass, voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, and recorder), and have taught for many years both privately and in the school system. I played violin 18 years in the Orchestra at Temple Square. I teach primarily classical. Seeing students progress and become excited about what they are learning/achieving!
