I began voice lessons 16 years ago and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance (Classical Voice) from BYU, with experience performing in recitals and operas. I specialize in teaching adult beginner to intermediate students, focusing on healthy vocal technique, breath support, and building confidence step by step. I love helping students discover their unique voice and grow in both their skills and enjoyment of singing. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized, creating a supportive environment where you can progress at your own pace and feel confident in your abilities.

Hi! My name is Rieley Nixon. Here at Nixon Studios I am committed to helping students of all ages learn music in the most fun and enjoyable way possible! We have a great time learning music in creative ways. I love structuring lessons with a focus on music theory so students understand the why behind each principle. I offer both Piano and Vocal instruction to all types of students. I've had special experience for those who have learning difficulties and disabilities. I’ve trained classically for 7 years and now I’m ready to pass my training on to some young singers! I love teaching and I can teach classical, jazz, music theater, and contemporary styles of singing.

I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from Brigham Young University. As a classically trained soprano, I am passionate about helping students develop healthy, efficient vocal technique that can be applied to any style of singing. For two years, I taught both Basic Vocal Skills and Private Voice at BYU, and I enjoy helping singers of all experience levels build confidence, artistry, and lasting vocal skills. I offer 3 services: beginning piano lessons, voice lessons for ages 12+, and coming soon: music and movement classes for kids 0-6 and their parents.
