Piano Lessons
About
Hello! I'm Macy Griffin! I am currently a student at Utah State University studying statistics. I love the piano and I have been playing since before I can remember. Most of my piano is for my own enjoyment and has become one of my favorite hobbies. I have a flexible open schedule and would love to gain more students who are ready to give piano a try for the first time, returning to their lessons or anywhere else on the radar.
I have taught lessons on and off for 5 years now. I especially enjoy teaching little children and beginner students. Teaching piano for me is a way to share what I love and help others love it as well.
I do not currently have a piano in my own home. I’m willing to travel to you (within reason) and student must have a piano available to them to practice.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our first lesson will be to just see where you are at in your piano skills, whether you are a first time student or have taken lessons in the past. From there I will evaluate and set goals, with you, for where to go from there with your future lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught piano from my home and traveling to other's home for 5 years on and off. I have done some certification in AIM testing (Achievement in Music). I have played and performed my whole life and absolutely love it.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically I've done lessons once a week for a 30 minute time slot. One lesson is $10.00. Travel required by me may change the total. Payment is done once a month, either at the beginning or end of the month depending on what works best for you. I can also go by a weekly basis and I am very flexible so I'm willing to work out a good payment system that works for you.
