Janae Pew graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2006 with a Bachelor of Musical Arts-Violin Pedagogy. In 2005-6 she was concertmaster of the BYU-Idaho Symphony Orchestra, Chamber orchestra, and Baroque Ensemble. While in college, she performed The Lark Ascending with the Rexburg Tabernacle Orchestra, as well as the Barber Violin Concerto with the BYU-Idaho Symphony orchestra throughout Europe. She played for the Idaho Falls Symphony until moving to Kentucky in 2007. Janae is Suzuki Book 1 certified and incorporates the Suzuki method into her teaching. She has taught students of all ages, from 3-65 and believes that every child/person of any age can learn to play. She has been teaching all levels of students privately since 2003.
