Everything! I love helping to empower students to discover their innate musical abilites and to help them reach beyond what they believe is possible. I teach a full spectrum approach including a wide variety of musical styles, technic, theroy, sight reading, theory, etc.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson is free to determine the students goals and to see if our styles and personalities are a match.

Bachelors in Music - USU (Piano Performance)

$25 per half hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always loved teaching. I tutored other kids in middle school and high school. I have played music for 40 years and have taught for over 25.
What types of students have you worked with?
I teach beginning to collegiate students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love working with youth and watching their eyes light up as they discover that they have the ability to achieve things that they didn't think they had the ability to accomplish.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Lessons can be very rewarding if you put in the time to practice. Find a teacher that helps to inspire you and makes music fun, challenging, and rewarding.
