Hi! I am Idena Ward, and I am excited to teach piano! I have been teaching since 2011, and have been a part of the National Federation of Music Teachers since 2020.

I have played piano by whole life - I don't actually remember learning the basics! I come from a very musical family, and accompanied a lot in high school and college. I have been the pianist for choirs and soloists, and recently started playing the organ and guitar as well (not ready to TEACH any of that yet, but having fun learning new things!)

I love to teach beginning piano students up to intermediate/advanced. I love to see students learn how music works, and how much fun it can be! Once they've learned the basics, I encourage them to find music that THEY want to learn, and help them through it!
