I have taught piano lessons for over 30 years. I am a professional song writer, (working with the writer of the Make-a-Wish theme song). I am soon starting my own children's integrative music/poetry program.
Music is my passion. I love teaching the value of good music in our lives, and how it can heal our hearts and minds:)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I have taught paino for over 30 years. I am a professional songwriter/musician

$15 per half hour lesson, or $20 for 45 minutes
How did you get started teaching?
My mother taught piano lessons while I was growing up. She allowed me to start taking over her students in High School. (33 years ago). I have taught on and off since then.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am in the process of writing and recording a professional "Signature Song" with Fiz Anthony, who recently wrote the them song for the Make-a-Wish Founder, who's movie is being filmed this year.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Enjoy the music, don't just learn it!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How well do I connect to my teacher, to help me "feel" the music come alive?
