I teach violin, viola, and piano. My priority is flexibility--every student learns differently, and my psychology degree gives me a unique ability to identify students' learning styles and reach them with positive motivation. I've worked with students from many backgrounds, many ability levels, and with many different strengths, struggles, disabilities, and shining musical talents.

I am a Suzuki certified teacher in violin and viola with 20 years of experience teaching students age two and up. Music reading and ear training together make for an efficient and fun learning experience!

I have a B.S. in psychology.

Working with people of all ages to understand and create music is the most fun I have, and I'm lucky enough to make a career of it. I believe that musical education enhances empathy, discipline, math and logic skills, and appreciation for arts and language.
