Elizabeth Cox Music Studio

Hello and welcome to my studio! I have been teaching for over 10 years and have experience with students age five to sixty-five! I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance and will be beginning my Master's program in August 2025 at The Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins.

My passion is building solid technique while allowing students to explore the genres they like (classical, fiddle, disney arrangements, etc.). When beginning lessons with me, we will discuss your goals for music lessons. Do you want to pursue a profession in music? Would you like build up your skills to play with a community orchestra? Are you looking for a new skill to develop? I will cater my teaching style to you and your goals! I love to see my students enjoying music no matter what path they are pursuing.

*I am currently living out of state, but I am open to teaching students in the Baltimore area over zoom until I arrive in Baltimore in August. Let me know if you are interested in a trial lesson, lessons over zoom, or setting up lessons to begin in August!
