What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students attend a free 30 minute trial lesson to discuss lesson policies, have a short comprehension activity so I can evaluate their playing level, and get to know each other.
After joining my studio, students can expect a practice journal to keep track of lesson notes and practice charts required for lessons. We have 2 recitals a year you get to perform in with my other students.

I have a bachelors degree in music education form BYU, about 10 years of formal violin teaching experience, and have been playing the violin for 18 years.
At BYU I was concert master of the Symphony, and played in both the Philharmonic orchestra and the elite chamber orchestra.
