Well, a little bit about me. I've been playing the piano for 15 years and have earned a few awards for my performances. 8 have also been teaching piano for 2 years. I find it to be a great opportunity for me to serve the community around me with a skill that I am proficient in. I like to think of each of my students as friends and because of that I want to get to know you as a person better. I also like to be strict as far as work outside of lessons go. I want you to devote an appropriate amount of time to piano practice so that you can come to your lesson well prepared and able to play to the best of your ability.

My process for working with a new student is dependent on where they are are at in their piano performance education. Before I even begin with a new student, I assess their level of musical knowledge to determine where I can begin to teach them most effectively. After the level of musical knowledge has been determined, I can then proceed to teach them.
I currently have Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in Commercial Music from Snow College and have won several national awards in piano performance and music theory proficiency.
