Savanna's Violin Studio
About
Hi! My name is Savanna Cannon, a violinist and violist with a love for sharing music. Ever since I picked up violin at a young age, music has been at the heart of my life. Over the past two years, I’ve taught students from young beginners to adults, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and enjoyment of their instrument.
I’m currently earning my Bachelor of Arts in Music at the BYU School of Music. My teaching blends the Suzuki method with practical techniques and ideas I’ve learned from my professors. Lessons are available in person—usually Saturday mornings in the BYU Music Building practice rooms—or online through FaceTime or Zoom. Depending on where you live we could also negotiate me coming to you!
Students can choose 30, 45, or 60-minute weekly lessons. Each one receives personalized lesson plans, practice guides, instrument maintenance guide, music theory resources, and personalized progress goals. I make sure lessons are interactive and encouraging, and I also provide opportunities for group playing and recitals to keep music-making fun and rewarding.
